The Ontario Motor Coach Association (OMCA) and Motor Coach Canada (MCC) are working closely with both the Canada Border Services Agency and U.S. Customs and Border Protection through dedicated World Cup 2026 task forces to improve cross-border processing for motor coach operations.
With significant cross-border travel expected during the 2026 World Cup, border agencies are working to better allocate resources based on known travel volumes. Over the past year, the association’s collaboration with Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has focused on identifying practical solutions to support more efficient land border crossings, particularly through the use of advance passenger information.
As we prepare for increased demand during the World Cup period, your participation is essential.
Providing advance information allows both CBSA and CBP to anticipate demand and reduce delays at land border crossings.
