OMCA is initiating an Ambassador program to encourage new membership and mentorship. Are you interested in being an Ambassador to OMCA? Are you passionate about growing our group tour business? Do you want to help others understand the importance of group business and being part of the OMCA membership and marketplace? Then become an Ambassador and help spread the word!
How can I be an Ambassador?
Please email membership@omca.com and let us know that you want to be an Ambassador by Friday, April 19th.
What do I have to do?
- We are hoping that each Ambassador can bring 7 new members from any membership category.
- OMCA Ambassadors will need to attend two virtual meetings a year (one in May and one in August)
- Answer any questions from potential members who may reach out to you directly about the group tour business, OMCA and/or marketplace.
- Be a mentor, if a member wants to know your personal experience in being a member of OMCA and/or attending marketplace.
- Reach out to potential group-friendly services in your area and invite them to be a member of OMCA. Copy membership@omca.com on the email so we can help pitch membership. Each Ambassador will get a promo code so we can track new members to your efforts.
What do I get for being an Ambassador?
- You and your company will be listed on our website so potential members can easily find you for trusted advice. This also gives you and your company additional exposure to the OMCA membership and potential members visiting our website.
- Extra perks and recognition at our events and throughout the year.
- An Ambassador ribbon if you attend Marketplace.
How long do I need to be an Ambassador?
It is a one-year term.
