OMCA President Doug Switzer announced today that effective immediately Mardi Schueler has been promoted to the position of Vice President.
“For some time now Mardi has been playing an integral role in all aspects of the association and has been a huge part of our success over the past several years. This promotion recognizes her outstanding contribution to OMCA and is in fact long overdue”, said Switzer. “Please join me in congratulating her on this well-deserved promotion.”
Mardi welcomed the announcement saying, “I’m pleased to take on this new role and am excited about the opportunity. As someone who was a long time member of the association before I joined the staff I have always built on my experience and knowledge to help our members get best value for their membership, and I will certainly continue to bring that perspective to my new role.” Mardi was a member of OMCA for many years with a coach operator member (Gray Coach Lines), a tour operator member (Mary Morton Tours/Time of your Life Tours), and as a supplier member representing hotels, restaurants, theatres and attractions. She joined the association staff in 2011.
