OMCA’s Vice President, Mardi Schueler, has accepted a seat on the Tourism Economic Recovery Ministerial Task Force.
The mandate of the task force is to provide advice and information to the Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries on strategies, tactics and approaches that the government should consider when supporting the economic recovery of the tourism sector in Ontario.
The task force will explore opportunities and barriers related to topics such as marketing and communications, travel/tourism incentives, products, experiences and destination development. The task force will provide a forum for sector partners and leaders to share ideas, collaborate and work together to position Ontario as a place to travel.
